I don't know if it has been discussed or not, but has anyone used or own an Emerson Hard Use model? It is their term for the affordable Emersons. There are three different models. I may have to try one out.

Lighthiker I haven't had any experience with em' but for the money I would go for a Spyderco.

Not sure if you can see in this pic but I worked on the edge a little and now it's Muy Sharpo! (Convexed up to 1500) still needs a wee bit o' work though

I can see where you sharpened it a little.

Sturdy indeed, but not that big, I was surprised at the size plenty big though. Very smooth action also.

Nice Score. I've always wanted to get a Skirmish, but for some odd and strange reason, whenever I place one in my hand I begin to detest it. It's the weirdest thing.

Now, I want one, again!!! For the thirtieth time!!

That Mini-Skirmish is very nice, Nick. I just love the care and workmanship that Benchmade puts into their folders. That one is surely tough enough for any chore you might do with a knife that size.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.
