I have a drawer full of big folders, the Benchmade Skirmish, Ontario Retribution, BladeTech Rijbak, and various CS Voyagers and Vaqueros. This is the first folder that I feel confident chopping with. I love it. There are times when I just don't want to carry a large fixed blade. Now if I can only convince Mike Stewart to make a folding golok!

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

My favorite folder is my Spyderco Military CPM S90V with Carbon Fiber scales. It is an awesome knife. If I knew how to post pics I would include one.

I've had an AR, SnG, and SMF. The AR was not for me! The SMF was very nice and I loved the SnG.

Kinda wish I'd of kept the SnG. They really are great and more efficient cutters than people claim.

400 for a folder though? As much as I'd like to justify it I can't.

So, back to benchmades and if the work required is tough, I'll reach for a fixed blade.

If you have extra cash I doubt you would be disappointed.

i own a xm-1. i like it alot. i really can't imagine a thicker folder. i thought i would never be able to carry it because of the size but it turns out that since it has a deep carry clip i for get that i have it on me.

my favorite folder to date has been my kershaw blur. i plan to get another one in s30v.

i'm wanting a zt300 as well. it looks huge but i bet it can really go to work. it's between those and the lone wolf t2 and t3. all of the above most likely...
