I am not letting the warranty issue bother me. That HEST folder looks more than rugged enough for me, and I'm sure that if there are any defects, ESEE will make it good.

Just looked at the ESEE HEST folder. From the looks it might be a winner. So what is the deal with the warranty issue?

Just looked at the ESEE HEST folder. From the looks it might be a winner. So what is the deal with the warranty issue? Being a folder, it won't have the same "No matter what" warranty as the fixed blades. They are still deciding on the exact terms. I have a Rat Trap folder. I would not expect it to be as tough as my HRLM.

They could easily give the folder the same warranty as their fixid blades, but then they would charge twice as much for it. I'd rather get the same knife for half the price.
