Ok, for you folks that have them, how do the knives feel that have a extra scale on one side?

Think they just have scales on one side, because of the framelock mech on the off-side

Yeah I finally figured that out, but I wonder if they feel "off" in the hand? Probably not but was just curious.

Never held one. That's another reason I'm not worked up over the HEST folder, or my lack of one.

I was playing with my folders today and realized that my Benchmade Deja Voo made the others feel rough and crude. That is one slick, smooth folder. It's like the Rat Trap only with a smoother action and better feeling handle. And I love the Rat TRap. I don't really know how I'll like the HEST folder until I use it.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

I wouldn't hold my breath. Making folders requires a lot of very precision machine work. There are plenty of of good manufacturers who do it very well. My Swamp Rat folder was make by Blade Tech.

Show off! Just kidding. I'd do the same if I had those pretty Hinderers. I need to look into getting one. Everyone else seems to be into the Chris Reeve folders, and they are pretty, too, but those Hinderer designs speak to me.

Sweet looking folders tonester. I really like that translucient G10.

Has anyone seen the ESEE-3 prototype made by Lion Steel? Looks like a nice looking folder.
