ElectHF, you WILL like it. I carry a small sebbie in my off side pocket and Used to carry Uncle Umm strong side until I got my Emerson Karambit. NICE TOY, and it actually is pretty functional. Originally the Karambit was an (Indonesian?) utility blade.

What's the Yard opinion on Benchmade Knives?

PoP,
I really like BM blades, but miss the quality of the old styles. The Griptillian always served me well, love the Osburne designs, and materials seem to be of good quality.

I've had my eyes on a Rift for a while. Nice knives, wouldn't mind owning one or two. But right now, I can't afford another obsession <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/doh.gif" alt="" />.

I have the Skirmish, Infidel, DejaVoo, Ritter Griptilian RSK, and I had a Pardue Automatic. All of mine are well made. They also made my Al Mar SERE Auto.

Thanks men. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif" alt="" />

I just pulled the trigger on a Benchmade 580 Barrage. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Warren Osbourne design,assisted opening...because I love Automatic blades! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

I like the Drop Point blade and the Satin finish Plain blade. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

I get agravated when I scrape up a TiKote or any kind of Black coating on a pocket knife. Don't care on fixed blades, just pocket knives. Odd but just me. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />

Blade Length: 3.60"
Blade Thickness: 0.121"
Handle Thickness: 0.650"
Blade Material: 154CM Stainless Steel
Blade Hardness: 58-61HRC
Blade Style: Drop-Point; Ambidextrous Thumb-Studs
Weight: 4.20oz.
Pocket Clip: Reversible Bright Split Arrow
Lock Mechanism: AXIS-Assist
Overall Length: 8.35"
Closed Length: 4.75"

That's what BM says about it.
Never had a Axis lock knife before,I hope I like it. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crossfingers.gif" alt="" />

Thanks again,

Peace.
