Obviously, this answer will vary. But in my view, you need to have AT LEAST four knives to consider your collection complete: 1) A chopper (e.g., Dog Father/Battle Rat/Battle Mistress) 2) A camp knife (e.g., Scrapper 6/Camp Tramp) 3) A fat-bellied skinner/slicer (e.g., Howling Rat) 4) A thin-bellied skinner/slicer (e.g., Street Scrapper 4/Bandicoot) And possibly a fighter (e.g., Pure Bred Fighter/Satin Jack). And at least ONE of those knives has to be manufactured by Busse Combat. Do you agree? Do you disagree? What do you think you need to own to make your collection complete? james_bond Junk Yard Dog Joined: Feb 2007 Posts: 3,574 Pacific North West	Very good Question I agree with you on the 4 different styles of fixedblades and like bigocean pointed out you need a folder and I would say a Multi-tool as well (old school leatherman supertool for me) now dose that mean a "compleat collection" NO. if it did you would have no reason to buy more knives. So that may be a complet collection of "using knives", but you gotta have more than that. The whole point of a collection is that it is always growing with your whims, wants, and what the Yard has for sale also I think it is important to be expanding in to new areanas of knife, Just my 0.02. The kraton handle replaced with Resprene-C. That enough to bring a shiver to my skin <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" /> Just a thought...
