Afternoon. Man, I like the Jungle carbine but prefer shooting a No.1 MkIII followed up by a N0.4 MkII.

Knot, great scre on that blade.

No S5 here today either. Oh well, maybe tomorrow? Probably not until next week though.

Be warned, these are crappy pics. Took them in the office this morning
well before anyone came in (didn't want anyone to get jealous), so they
were rushed.

you keep all that in your office?

I'm guess most bad news comes in the form of a anonymous memos.

Lol, I love the thing. I 'try' to carry it with me most of the time.

Here is my review on it.. I am an amateur with nice lights...

Hey Fellas...the last DC looked liked a lot to wrap by head around, so I never jumped in. Thought I'd get in on this one while it was fresh.

btw...did someone mention TK40?

This is what sits besides me at night while I dream of my S5 to arrive. This light is just ridiculously bright.

man, there's a mirror polished BATAC on the exchange right now and I'm so tempted to pick it up. I love those TAC handles.

What would everyone suggest as a good EDC fixed blade?

I'm really considering carrying fixed all the time.

With the changing knife laws, that may be the way to go, but I have yet to find any fixed blade as practical for everyday use as a good folder. I use my Rat Trap every day.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

There are many to choose from, depends what you want.

For me, the SR Vex is hard to beat - it's got a lot of blade for its size, and the handle is slim enough to avoid being too obtrusive.

I love Mudders, but on an EDC they are a bit bulky. The thinner micarta slabs on my Vex are still comfortable enough to grip, and they are a lot less noticeable day-to-day.
