Gotta love Oregon we can carry/own most anything. Iowa is pretty nice IF you have a decent sheriff. Sheriff and only the sheriff (in your county) is the person that can give you a CCP. Also the only person that can take it away.

However, Iowa doesnt have concealed carry, we have a "Permit to Carry Dangerous Weapons". So, legally, I can walk down the street with a 12 gauge in one hand and a Waki in the other...
Of course, we go back to the onle person that can TAKE your permit is your sheriff...for any reason
Best to stay in stealth mode, just incase some cop is unaware of the actual law.

Funny enough, the two states closet to me (WI and IL) not only do not have any reciprocity with Iowa...they are the ONLY 2 states without any kind of carry permits.

sethro...have you read that oregon gun law book?
im really interested in concealed carry...and evengoing hunting Not sure about the Gun Law Book but I've been legally Carrying Concealed 15+ years. Most of Oregon allows Open Carry also. I've carried open in National/State parks and forests with no problem. Even liberals carry here.

OK Mag I love Kimber's but its been awhile since I bought one.
Gimme some porn! What's the Kimber Warrior? the warrior has no firing pin block, a short guide rod, a lanyard loop, and a rail. it also had the internal extractor when kimber was using external extractors on the rest of their pistols, but that's not so special anymore.
