Since they are putting into law the health-care reform that poll after poll shows the majority of US citizens do not want, are we now a dictatorship? They were elected to represent us and our interest instead they are doing what they want.

If so and if we can not change it through election, do states now have the right to succeed from the union?

Since roughly 3/4 of the states plan on suing over this, would it be the right time to call for a constitutional convention?

It seals the blues fates. But what I find interesting is that the full effect doesn't go into effect until 2014. When Obama is out of office. Then the heavy financial burden will hit the next president and be their problem.

I am also willing to bet there will be some legal wrangling with constitutionality. With the main issue being that you are mandated by federal law to pay for health insurance.

Yes, I can see a lot of court cases coming from this vote. And you are right, amazing how it will not take affect until 2014, after the Immigration thing is settled.

The only bright side I see is my state will probably become a solid red state again. With the influx of liberals we have become a blue state. And people are sick of it. They are taxing us to death at a State level.
