the only place rust matters is on the edge and coating won't help that anyway. If you get any kind of oil on it, it will be fine.

I like those Brown kydex sheaths.
But I am so tapped for cash I'm gonna have to wait.
I hate having a knife with no pants. I use them so they need to go in something. Suppose if I was a collector I wouldn't worry about pants.

anything will work, even cheap cooking oil. Mainly for me it would depend if I was using it on stuff I'd eat

eezox is my favorite, but for food prep blades I'd use something different. I have a stripped RMD doing perfectly fine on an invisibly thin layer of canola oil

Wd40 has always been good to me about rust, but I also havnt used much else

The Wiener dogs are definitely for the kitchenbut the warden will be with me everyday. I have a Game Warden but it is really heavy for its size. Indestructable, but heavy.
