I have a friend who broke ribs in a car accident and he has constant pain. They had to insert a device under his skin which shocks him to counter the pain. Not sure how it works but it seems to do something to the nerve endings.

I decided I couldn't get around a guy and tried to run right over the top of him and he got lower than me and flung me through the air like a rag doll. I'm just glad it didn't break my neck

I saw ribs and my mind automatically went to firing up he grill. It's good weather for that here. Wish I could pull the grill out front all day and wait for the fedex guy to show up with my iMac. Afraid nothing from he BusseKin has shipped to me yet. Yes sir. Ever time I eat ribs, etcc and go to cut them I think about mine and how much scar tissue is actually in there. Now that you mentioned that I want ribs this weekend but supposedly so so with rain. Oh well, something to look forward to "soon".

Ribs are bad enough but the shock thing puts it into a whole new category of pain--or how much pain he is feeling.

The hard thing is that the device has had to be replaced twice since I've known him. Once because the wires came out the device and once because the battery stopped working.

tagati, When I posted earlier I was in between classes.
That really bites on the job/ad agency thing. Thankfully that was in 2007. I was really down at the time because I felt that I had gotten the raw deal by doing the right thing. However, I ended up in a much nicer agency because of the experience (really makes you think less about the paycheck and more about the kind of people I wanted to work for) and the agency I left went rapidly downhill. There were 250 people when I was there and now they are less than 40. All ended up well. i aske for a raise and ended up in a argement. I told them if hey wanted things to go right they should pay me more. I cut my hours to do more outside work. They hired a guy who later got into fights with customers and took a few days off (I never did). They soon hired the guy who was stealing. All to cover for what I worked alone... So they fired the first guy from my department but maybe a day or two later I figured out the guy was stealing because I knew my department. They decided it was my fault for not being there! oh and My replacement is a customer. I like the guy and he is he only one I feel sorry for. They don't know my customers. They already know that people would walk away and come back later. Hey aren't coming back now...
