Yeah, I want test out EDC knives only, 5 inches down, for everyday, normal city life uses and needs, Camping uses where you might have other size knives or tools and survival, only one knife kind of thing

Ok, here is my input, not that I really have any expertise or anything.

1. edc- city urban day to day job type blade. fixed NOT OVER 7 inches (compact and will go in most pockets easily). ANY GOOD 3-3 1/2 inch blade folder.

2. Outdoors bushcraft/camp use 5 or 6 inches. A pretty much do everything you NEED to do blade.

3. End of the world survival. Ok here I would recommend 2 blades. One should be 8 inches plus (can you say DOG FATHER!!) AND a smaller blade, along the EDC or outdoors length. 2 because If it IS an EoTW situation, you will need to build a more permanent shelter. A longer blade will just naturally allow you to do this and having 2 blades is not unreasonable IF you are expecting something to happen and have not made plans before hand other than a BOB.

Just my 2 cents for what it's worth, and that may not be worth much more than 2 cents.

Actually, I think you already have all three blade types/sizes don't you?

I'm only going to test EDC sizes in all those situations, kinda like, how does this 4 inch knife perform for everyday city tasks, then if a friend picks you up from work and is like "Lets go camping" and all you have is that same 4 inch knife, but he has other tools, and then if you got stranded with only that 4 inch knife, how would it perform. I'm basing it on how does the knife you carry everyday perform, cause if you get away from your BOB or you home, a good knife you carry on your person at all times can be very important
