Hey Everyone,
Looks like I found a Dogfather on BF and of course it doesn't have a sheath.
I'm looking right now for a decent nylon style sheath that's inexpensive till I can either make or have a kydex one made.
The ones at Spec Ops only fit blades up to 8 inches.
Any suggestions?

Pick up one from the Scrap Yard Store for $19.95. I have the smaller one and it's top notch.

Good score on the DF.

Inside each knife is a new adventure waiting to be had...maybe some blood and probably some suture.

yes for "nylon" I'd suggest the Scrapyard one they offer, works great and has a pouch.

Yep..the Nylon one from the Yard is, imo, much better than the Kydex one that Yard has offered.

Also...they guy selling the sheaths on ebay for 25 bucks..just a heads up that he doesn't space the holes up so that you can add a tek lok, at least he doesn't on the S5LE sheaths. The one I got from him is otherwise well constructed..

I recently got the nylon DF sheath from the Yard. It has a synthetic insert and a large pouch on the outside. I am thinking that a mlti-tool would be great in the poch. I could not be happier with the sheath--and it stays to the price/performance motto.

For the record-

Here is the "Small" version of the Scrap Yard Nylon Sheath. It's supposedly for 6" knives, but it fits the SOD and Yard Hook pretty darn well.

The 10" version will of course be bigger <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
