Guiness is good. Its even good with a little Bass ale.

I like Bass...can't stand the "oil in a can" though. Another story is needed:

My wife and I decided to throw a party to celebrate our first house...oh, maybe 8 years ago (geez, feeling old). Anyhow, my one luxury provided was a Keg of Bass Ale. It was freaking AWESOME! I drank my share but regretted it later, as I think I recall depositing some of it in the back yard a little later on . Great night, though! Everyone got snuckered and then played James Bond on the Nintendo (forget which model...so long ago).

Best,
Max

I learned to drink that oil in a can from a Brit who ended up being my roomate early on in my career...I did teach him to drink bourbon

There is an important lession that i can pass on to all of you...Under no circumstances ever, ever try to drink a Brit under the table because you will loose and he will serve you breakfast on the table you are under with a smile on his face the next day. I still have no idea how they do it...must be genetics or an advanced race of drinkers. They will forever remain on a pedistal in my blood shot eyes...cheers

I once got tanked with a brit. Now, lemme start by saying Marines can DRINK. I'm convinced that brits have an inhuman ability to still be able to continue drinking and carry a conversation while being passed out drunk. It was a photo finish between SHE and I. Think we BOTH ended up under the table, with no one to serve us breakfast

Thats a great story...they may be able to drink that much and carry on a conversation But I am sure that a marine can do the same while taking out the enemy

Policy is to not discuss numbers. So when they are gone they are gone [/quote]

Ahh, I see. I didn't realize it was a company policy. Well...here's to hoping that I see the posting before they're all gone!

Hey, I didn't miss it. I was out to dinner with the Mrs. We had Indian food.

We have four boys, so any time we can get away is worth it!

Very cool ...a hot date away from the family. I always tell Patti that we should have taken pictures...a passing/fleating memory LOL. Good for you

Glad you could join in

My wife has had a recent epiphany. She said a wife also needs to be her husband's "girlfriend". That made me appreciate her even more.

Dan, is there any sibling rivalry between you and Jerry? And do you kinda hold the Yard and the following you and your knives have here over his head?

The Hogs are a pretty wild bunch, but I've noticed that they are loyal to the steel while the Yard is loyal to each other. Regardless of how many more Hogs there may be then Dogs, that is surely something that Dan should be proud of.

Long Live the Brotherhood.

Well Dogs, time for me to take a pill, walk the dogs, and turn in early! Catch you all on the flip side - have a great night! Tom

Same here except the kids already walked the dogs. This has been fun. I encourage the rest of you to continue to the Sip & Talk.

Lets get this scheduled again

Have a great evening and thanks for the great stories and questions

Long Live The Brotherhood Of The Yard

Dan
