The camping trip was great for me, no ringing phones to annoy me, just sitting by the lake and watching nature. Our campsite was on the bank of the lake, and idiot me forgot my camera <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif" alt="" /> Sound like a great trip. You know sometime I leave my camera on purpose. It helps me focus on just absorbing the wilderness. At least that's what I tell myself when I forget my camera.

Bunch of sunfish, couple trout and one catfish. I spent hours just flipping a popper around with a flyrod just for the sunfish. Not much to eat, but fun to catch.

Sometimes i really wish I could capture the view, but in truth, I don't need a picture. The view will always be there. I just don't like bringing electronics with me on camping trips at all.

I never leave home without a camera, but my SLR pack is pretty big. I took it out and got my pocket camera out to take along, and left it on my desk. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif" alt="" /> Oh well, my wife is happy there weren't any pics of her falling in the creek!
