Yeah, I'm pretty much the same way, I may not actually like it, but I will at least try it. And after spending time in the Philippines, Korea and Japan, I have ate some strange food. Guess the most "out there" was blowfish. Made my lips tingle along with my tongue. Guess whoever cut it up knew what they were doing, I'm still alive! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> Oh and Yes I knew what it was. If you live all over the world, you're about guaranteed to have to try some different foods. I've lived right here my whole life, and it shows.

Hey, if I hadn't been in the Air Force I would have been the same way. But Gyro sandwiches.... ANOTHER good food! Served on pita bread topped with lettuce, tomato, cheese and mayo!

I haven't tried as many foreign foods as I would like but I have eaten tomatoes and sweet onions like apples which is pretty foreign to a lot of people.
