I'd rather be hit with a Taser than pepper spray. That was the gift that kept on giving. Got a secondary dose when I took my shower, that wasn't fun.

Well they SAY it is safe, but there is some conjecture that a few folks (bad guys) have died from it, but I think there were some other MAJOR medical issues involved.

We had a guy die here a couple years ago, he was Tased while standing on an elevated porch and hit his head on the curb when he fell off. Not the fault of the Taser, just the operator used some poor judgement.

My goal at the end of the night is to have all 8 of my deputies come back in the same shape they left in. All other concerns are secondary.

Yeah water doesn't do much to help with the pepper spray.

Back when I was still being a cop we got into a fight with a BIG (talk and muscular, I think he bench pressed Buicks). Anyway I got behind him and layed my pr24 across his throat and I had one hand on the long end and one on the side handle and pulled backwards. Then my PARTNER came up and let him have it with the pepper spray. Well it didn't all get him. He saturated my shirt and it didn't start burning until about 3 or 4 hours later. My whole shoulder area was looking like a sunburn!

I agree Steeley, but the Guttersnipe Coneheaded low life lawers (sorry guttersnipes and coneheads) have made it not so. Don't get me wrong, I agree with you but all life is precious.

I totally agree that all life is precious, but certain types of lawyers ect really get on my nerves.
