Hey lazi. The Soviets rarely spliced stocks. Not sure who, where, when, why......jsut really unusual.
The Finn's spliced stocks all the time. The Finn's figured out that splicing two shorted pieces made for a stronger and more accurate stock while allowing the use of more dense, but imperfect, Baltic Birch.

Aim is supposed to have some after the 4th.
Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics but at 12:30 it was at a 100 degrees and I was sweating in the shade. Did not want to get in the sun unless I had to LOL.

Love the looks of the Jungle Carbine. There's a rifle in 7.62x39 that looks a lot like them I was interested in that uses AK mags. Turns out its no that easy to find.

MB. J&G has the standard 91/30, Hex, Laminated (these are post war stocks but beautiful), and MO marked rifles. The MO are Ministery of Interior marked and used form the inception in 1952 (IIRC on the dat, might be 1953) and were used for guarding Interior buildings, railway, post office, etc. The MO are more sought after.

Wanted to get a Nagant a while back when Mag22 was looking at them. Too busy buying knives and drooling over the M1A. Seems like one should be able to squeeze $120 bucks or so out to add one on those to line up. No funds now but I would still like to pick up one.

I has seen a hand full of good reviews on them though.
