Blade itself feels nice and has a front heavy slicer/chopper feel. The area on top is swooshed out and begs to be batoned. The rear swoosh is great for a high choke hold and thumb placement.

Now I need to find some pants for this. I will try my SOD leather sheath when I pick it up from my brothers place. I sure hope it fits, if not a call out will be made. I am lacking in the 6-8" blade size but this and my SODLE are my favorites.

But military postal is free--right!
I know, not really free.

It isn't free. The only free part about it is it is like my address is in New York. So mailing to or from me is the same postage for a New Yorker. It isn't the fastest thing in the world. Sometimes it is relatively quick, other times...

Jeff, unless it has changed since I got out in '94 it goes reglar USPS to an APO/FPO where the MILITARY takes over the delivery process. Then it is (or was somtimes) IF THEY HAD THE SPACE AVAILABLE FOR IT! Don't know how it works now except for what JJ said. You are just paying postage TO THE U.S. port.

It still flies space available on commercial carriers. My paper did a story recently about how Walmart was charging us, U.S. troops, extra for having to ship it overseas. As Skunk just said, they aren't paying that price the military is.
