I wonder who is all coming in for it?

A friend of mine - since High School - dropped by the other day for a visit. We were sitting on my front porch and I mentioned the Wannemacher show; he said that he would like to go to a GOOD gun show. I told him that THIS show is the one to go to!!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

I remember once way back in the dark ages my parents and I went to the Smokey Mountains. We went to Cherokee S.C. and I couldn't have been but about 8 or maybe 10. They asked me what I wanted to remember the trip with. I chose a rather long dagger with a fake peark handle and Eagle wings sprouting from the Eagle shaped guard. Kind of hokey sounding now, but was one of the first knives they let me pick out. The first one I bought was from a kid in school, yes I bought it at school in the 3rd grade! Oh how things have progressed since then.

They have a couple fairly good gun shows for an area like this here twice a year. They hold it in the Show Me Center, an arena where the S.E. Missouri University has Bball games and other events. Nothing really over the top, but you can find a few good deals if you try hard enough. Some knives but mostly case and other folders and a few of the larger factory fixed blades, but nothing like ours.

Uh I was talking about getting better knives. But WE HAVE gone backwards as far as kids being able to take TOOLS with them like we used to. Such is their loss, well at least SOME of them could be trusted.

The Tulsa show is mostly guns, ammo, and accessories, but has some knives as well. That's where I first met Lynn Thompson with Cold Steel back in 97' <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />; the show has LOTS to see - and buy! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
