I spend a LOT of time in the summer at Julian Price Park, on the Blue Ridge Parkway. after looking at the map.. i think i was up that area once... but it was when i was a kid.... we used to drive the parkway when we were up there visiting... we drove most of it (in NC) back then.... i love that land... Need to make a visit this way Doc. It sure beats the humidity in Florida in the summertime you are so right about that... I may have to soon anyway.. have to settle my late mother's affairs and it looks like i may not be able to do it long distance... I will tell you what.. once they get to know you, those mountain folks up there are some of the finest people I have ever met... Doc
