Let's make this a REALLY special update. We're at 500,491 posts. This will make it 492. Only 8 more for another 500 to the 500K. Let's do it!

Just for old times sake (this WILL go in the update), get a load of this.

2010 Started off with Banana Clip making the fist post of the year with #358,264 on page 1381 of DC.

What would be the odds that he would make the historic 500 thousandth post the next year.

A lot of water has passed under the bridge this past year, both figuratively and literally (at least where I'm from).

Banana-clip will soon join the ranks of those that have Honorably served his country and will now be able to reflect on his past exploits as he contemplates a NEW career in civilian life.

I don't remember WHEN he said his retirement date from the Army is going to be, but give it up for one more soul who agreed to give EVERYTHING to preserve the way of live we have so came to enjoy.

One more post and then it's on to the updates, and unless someone bets me to the post, the 2011 daily update will be post number 500500.
