quality in a lens from Germany is the norm. I think just about anything you buy from Europe is going to give you a degree of satisfaction.

I bought a saw made in China late last year and it was made in China. I used this POS once and it broke. I bought a folding saw on line made in Sweden and it has yet to fail me. Very hard composite marital for the handle and a blade that makes lite work out 4" diameter branches.
