the Bear Grylls toy survival knife? In that price range, I'd rather carry a scrapivore or swamp warden. Saw one at Academy today and you are right. Genius marketing ploy but lack luster item from what I can tell.

I put this up in another thread but thought it might go well here also. DAN'S NEXT OFFERING: THE ALPHA DOG! 12 inch blade .195 inch thick, 1 1/2 inches in height flat ground slightly drop point with a modified Reg handle (minus the top guard) with the handle at a slight downward angle in relation to the blade. Or it could have an oversized set of mudders on it! Oh and GREEN handle color would be a must have option. Piggy back the War dog with this and you would not need another knife, EVER! I said NEED, not want. How is everyone tonight?
I am only on for a short time, so how is it going? Pretty good. Just checking the Yard before I hit the sack. Getting up early in the morning to go do some shooting--want to get there before plastic starts melting and the metal starts scalding me!
