No, actually it can be a good thing. Indicates you are not Greed motivated like so much of the world. Nothing wrong with wanting and having stuff, but if you have to lie, cheat and or steal to get it, it's a miserable existence. I've seen it to many times. Learn what your means are and then how to live within them. Splurging once in a while is not ALL that bad, but it must be the exception and ALWAYS kept in check.
