I very politely, well ok I'm not polite at all, tell her that I was in this family before she was. I don't think she cares!

HA, try one 35 and one 38! Damm your old, just joking. When anyone comments to me about my age I just say I'm just getting closer to retirement.

That's the way our little Jack Russel (14yrs old) is, the Queen of all she surveys. The nights I'm home we fight over MY pillow. And she does NOT think she should give it up. No fight at our house, trouble has his own blanket on the bed where he sleeps. He just takes up 1/3 of the bed

Cazio, I just usually tell folks I'm older than dirt, that I can remember when it was still mud!

Trouble is he thinks I'm momma and is with me everywhere in the house and actually sleeps on me. Our cats are all rescues.

Take it easy coyotebc. SH the guy in the hospital with me told the nurses he was born in 1928 and dirt was discovered in 1930 so he is actually older than dirt. I thought that was funny as hell when he said it.

I look forward to when I can have a pet around. I'm a dog guy but i could probably tolerate a rescued cat. dont think I would choose a cat other than that though.
