I think I have already said it, but I've got the Emerson Karambit, Pricy but I got mine for just over $200.00 and I really like it. Lot of money for a knife you HOPE you never have to use, but all things considered it is cheap insurance policy.

I think the knife you are talking about has that n690 steel. I have a Benchmade with that steel and really like it. Holds a good edge and still sharpens up relatively easy.

You said it already and I envy you. It´s truly a nice knife. I have the former model of the 5.11 Tarani series karambit. I like the karambit design. I also have one Filipino made fixed karambit. That Filipino knife has double edge.

That Fox folder has 440C teflon coated blade. 5.11 has 154cm.

I've been considering getting a CS Steel Tiger Karambit. Has a 5 inch blade and it would be in my BOB for a pest removal device, although I would be hoping I would never have to use it.
