Or even white kydex with a pink lanyard, Jeff. Remember we're talking about a purse sheath here. It needs to be HIGHLY visible. After all, if you've been married as long as I have, you know how easily things can get lost in a woman's purse. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/paperbag.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

I see your point Bruce and agree, that is one place I never venture, my wifes purse is like a different dimension or something... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

I can't get white, ATM, but I think pink might be a little better anyway IMO. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

I'd buy a pink one for the cause.
Bruce, historicaly, do you think the Scrapizashi will be discontinued before the Scrapavore is produced?

I have a feeling we will see both in the store at the same time. Just a feeling though.

If Rainwalker can wear a SW inside his shirt with no rust, the the Scrapivore should not have any issues at all.

Right. But just to be clear, Rainwalker's SW isn't satin-finished. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Very true, Bruce. A satin finished one would be higher maintenance for sure. But the coated Scrapavore's should do fine, especially in kydex with some occcational preventive maintenance. I know I'll be carrying one. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

I wonder if the Satin version will be numbered? It's not a terribly big deal to me, just curious... I'd love to set up the satin as a companion to my DFLE or SODLE... or maybe one for both. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

How about a Satin Finish...Clear-Coated? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

This knife looks sweet! I'm not big into neckers, but they do usually work well for pocket carry, so count me in for a few of the coated ones.

As for uncoated, I wonder if renwax would do the trick?

Does SR101 take blueing or patinas well?
