I really like the plastic dip idea. I did that on several tool when I worked on barges ages ago. I had forgotten all about it. Maybe Dan will epoxy cord wrap some of these. The difference between a wrapped and unwrapped swamp warden is huge.

How long does it stay on before wearing out if at all?

I like using a removable Paracord wrap myself, because having some handy cordage on hand is always a good thing. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> I've got an idea or two for the back end too, but I think it's best to wait until I have one in hand to decide, I might just like it fine with a good kydex sheath and a nicely wrapped handle. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

At least the plastidip would seal the cord from soaking up fluids. You can wrap some cord around the sheath or carry some in pack or pocket.

As for the hind end,I'm thinking a V for nail pulling.

Let me know when you get a bare bones kydex done for it. I would like to pocket carry and also ONE hole near the top to fasten a belt loop to with chicago screws for on the belt or IWB carry. I'm thinking MAYBE Small of the back inside at somewhere around a 30-45 degree angle. And I am also thinking it would be small enough for horizontal carry in the appendix position as well.

I wonder how it would work with a slot on each side of the sheath for ankle carry?

As the rest of you I'm really looking forward to this one. I have a Swamp Warden and several other neckers and it appears that this one will solve some of the little things that I don't like about the others.

Nice one Dan!
