The second way, is that they could simply limit a knife to what is called a Ganzaa...typically led by the Busse group. Ganzaaa's typically occur at night, and have specific rules to each Ganzaaa. You have to be online at the time of the Ganzaaa...with an email prepared for what you want to buy. It's kindof a first come first serve type of Hog-fest, so be warned. This is how I got my Wiener...as they were not released in the store. I'm not covering 1/10th of the Ganzaaa details...I'd recommend doing a search on the the word Ganza and you'll find info on the past few.

Hope that helps!

uh-oh... Here's Hoping and praying they end up in the store! These will be going like hotcakes, and I missed out on the last Ganzaa, I'd hate to lose out on the best thing to happen to neck knives.

I'm not concerned at all about the Scrapivore release. Dan already mentioned that these would be up in the store in the next couple of weeks, so I'm confident that these will be a regular release and not offered in a Ganzaa (unless possibly in the future as a Special Edition or something). Rest assured, we'll see these in the store soon!!

Thanx,Ishikawa!
Really hope it's the 'store option'; I did some searches, but still unsure about the Ganzaaa option....and how that works.
Sorry to be so dense : I'll look again in the morning, with coffee.

And to the other gentleman who was talking about paracord wraps,I recently got some 'cord that is GITD,some reflective, some both!
( My favorite? The ORANGE! )
Since I'm not a lanyard artist,I sent them to a friend who is and he has made me over a dozen lanyards, including some Safety Lanyards,so far.
Not sure if I can post pictures here.

Didn't mean to drift out in left field...

One of my favorites:

My breachers bar w/ GITD/Reflective Safety Retention Lanyard:

http://monsterbladeworks.com/images/stories/products/misc/breacher3.jpg

Had to settle for links; unable to get pictures to work....

The loop is adjustable,so I don't lose the tool out of a tree stand, etc.
I pestered DahlKen 'til he made 'em for me.A holdover from my stage-rigging days.

Sorry for the side-track,

First,thanx! for the Welcome here.
Now,my next rookie question:
What is the procedure for buying here?
I had heard it was pre-pay/pre-order,which is fine with me,then one post mentioned 'the new procedure'...
I know the Scrapivore is not released yet,but would rather reveal my ignorance, than to miss out!

No sweat...it's about as confusing for newbs as men trying to figure out women, and we've all been there.

So...there are two ways to get knives. BOTH ways, you will see an announcement on the boards....which kindof enforces interaction / dedication to land one. Not to any significant measure...but you can't be sleeping at the wheel either.

The first way is that a release could be offered in the store. If you go to the SYKCO home page...go to Order Here. You'll see the Scrapizashi is currently available for purchase under "knives". Once Dan announces a knife will be up in the store, this is where you go to check / purchase the knife.

Hope that helps!

Great reply, that covers it.

I've already started looking for Paracord to wrap it with, hehehe. Somehow, I don't think the OD green stuff I have will cut it with this one. blue maybe?

Yeah, I have some blue and orange, maybe one of those colors.

I know that some of the guys will be pining for Orange, even though it's not mudder grips, it'll still look good.

Kinda OT: has anyone ever tried to twist weave two seperate colors together, alternating one over the other? I was experimenting with it at home, but couldn't really tell if I had gotten the effect I was going for since all I had was OD... 200 yds of it...
Not yet, need to figure out how to connect the two colors together.
