the only neg so far is the choil. It is just too small for my sausage fingers <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> This is interesting to me. Not clear if I consider it a negative or not...but I'm intrigued. The design would lead one to believe that the choil is usable for choking up on the blade, upon first glance. However, it must just be an oversized sharpening choil...I guess? My finger doesn't fit and I have medium sized hands. My wife's finger fits, but not comfortably enough to suggest you wouldn't cut yourself if not careful. Thanks for sharing your pics / comments! It helped me get through the day <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> Yes I'm a little disappointed in that ish, to me you Gould either have a usable choil or none at all. By having this one I still find myself putting my finger in there getting cut up aging. It wouldn't be hard to use a round sanding drum on a dremel & grinding off a bit of the finger guard so a finger will fit in the choil. It might make a better bushcrafter out of it.

Got mine either Thursday or Friday, not sure as I was out of town, and thus far I think it will be my favorite blade of this size. Way to go Dan and crew!

Called the PO to see if they could hold the package, and they said it's already out on a truck! Woohoo! The only problem is that I live in the city, and the USPS guy likes to leave a note rather than ringing my buzzer. I put up a note for him to ring the buzzer and I'm not leaving home until he gets here! I've been a bit nervous with the people saying that the choil is too small. I really don't have a knife that I can say is my "if I could only have one knife this would be it..." knife. Hopefully I feel the same way! About the choil, I do have pretty average sized hands. Hopefully the choil is big enough for me. I will be pretty bummed out if it's not. I find that choils are especially useful on blades around the size of the WarDog. I really don't want to have to break out the dremel to make it fit either.

My hands are small to med and it depends on what you mean by fit for the choil. I can't hook my finger into it.
