The medical MJ is killing rentals. MJ grows can trash a house with moisture, mold and spores.

We used to be the meth capitol of our state. We averaged 175 a year. Mostly because my team hunted them down.

Being proactive some public education and reasonable laws knocked it down to less than 20 a year.

We have a lot of outdoor pot farms here. Climate is good and the growning season is long. But we've started seeing a few indoor operations too.

It will probably go back up a little. All the guys I put away are getting out of prison soon.

True story here, I was in my early 20's at the time.
A buddy and I took a drive to Vancouver and we met up with 3 buddies driving their surburban around East Vancouver (it was a weekend and we were watching the creatures of the night)
We go down this back alley behind this infamous local bar, huge ugly tranny standing on the corner I drive by.
My buddies yell some obscenities at the tranny as they go by.
I hit the brakes, they are now trapped in the alley, this huge tranny yells and runs up the alley.
My buddies starts honking/locking doors/rolling up windows, just when the tranny starts banging on the back of the truck I take off.
My buddies burn out of there, leaving the tranny in the dust, when we hit the main road they finger me as they pass me.
When I saw them the next day they were still mad and told me they were so freaked out that they drove straight home from the alley

Our pot industry generates more revenue then the forest industry.
We have some huge grow-ops in BC.
A few years ago they implemented new laws in Canada in regards to Class 1 and Class 2 precursors for making meth.
Since the company I work for sells class 2 precursors (paint solvent) I went to the 2 day training session that Health Canada was hosting.
It was a very informative 2 days, but oddly almost the entire first day was devoted in how to make Meth.
I could have walked out of there and set-up a meth lab just based on what they showed in the seminar.
They also had some big-wigs from law enforcement there, one story I loved was this guy that was busted with 5kg (12 lbs) of meth and the chemicals to make anther 20kgs in his lab.
He claimed it was just for personal use
