I don't see them often here. I had a blast goofing around with those two kits. They were funny. They couldn't quitfigure out what I was. I was wearing a leafy suit. I always manage to see at least one really cool thing every archery season.

No blaze orange law here.
When rifle hunting I usually wear some blaze orange but not bowhunting or waterfowl hunting

Squirrels don't seem to mind the orange, but I think they see it. The one that jumped on me avoided the hat that I had taken off and stuck on a limb nearby, but jumped on my rifle barrel.

We are required to wear orange during rifle season. But I rarely rifle hunt big game. Just bunnies, squirrels and varmints.

When packing an animal out I wear a blaze orange hat, and I wrap a blaze orange cheap traffic vest around the animal

I wear a blaze orange hat to my stand, and most of the time take it off and hang it on a limb closeby. I like a tobaggan if it's cold and nothing on my head if its warm.

I think most animals are more concerned with movement than colour

Plus where I hunt there isn't another person within a half-mile most of the time. One way in, one way out.

Only reason I wear orange at all is just in case I met up with a game warden, but I haven't seen any of them in there in the 30 years I've been hunting there.

typical
my daughter and her boyfriend have done nothing all day.
Now at 4pm they want me to help them move stuff from his place to storage (he is moving at the end of the month)

I think so too. And maybe smell. I try to sit downwind of where I expect the deer to be, and if possible I try to have the sun at my back too.

I make ground blinds out of fallen timber and chicken wire and leaves, so movement usually isn't too big an issue.
