The "Night before Knob Creek" (and all through the house, ...well, hotel anyway) notice has been posted on BladeForums:
Knob Creek Thursday October 13th Trough RaidFor best selection, that's the place to be, and don't be surprised that the line begins forming well before 5:00. Also, I'll pass along a couple bits of local information:
1) If you're coming from out west, the Knob Creek timezone is EST; I know of at least one group who carpooled in, but forgot to plan for time zone changes, so they missed the rush.
2) If you're coming in from North of Louisville, KY, be aware that one of our major Ohio River bridges is out of service. The Sherman-Minton is closed to repair structural cracks. You may think, I take the Kennedy, so I'll be fine. However, the Kennedy is handling most of the diverted traffic in addition to what would normally pass over it; it backs up badly during rush hours, so plan accordingly. Based on this news story,
Sherman Minton Bridge job could take three months longer than hoped, the bridge will probably still be out when next Spring's Machine Gun Shoot rolls around.
