We've already worked a shooting tonight, plus I've had to hang up on 4-5 people already. I won't sit here and talk to someone so drunk they can't half talk when they don't really want anything anyway. Just want to gripe about something.

We have one that is a modern day version of Otis. They call to see if detox has a bed and then call us. Its odd. And it occurs on regular basis.

We've got one of those too. He thinks he's an FBI agent and will call us asking for assistance. Usually it's assistance in finding a ride or something like that.

I know your pain. We can bare bones a shift with 8 and be ok. But 7 kills us. Ideal is between 10 and 12 on not counting overlap. 10-12 per shift! Heck MB, we don't have that many Deputies TOTAL!
