Yes, that stuff really works. I got to meet and hang out with the lady who invented it, a few years ago, in the Sierras, while she was experimenting with dog-based bear aversion training.

I would have thought it would come of vinyl easily. Me too!! Came out of the seats/carpet easily, wiped off of all the plastic no problem, but the vinyl/fake leather door covering is orange speckled!

I imagine bear repellent would be pretty effective on humans, too. And it puts out a heck of a blast. You could blast several folks at once.
Just make sure the wind is blowing away from you....
