don't think I've ever had a overly gamey piece of meat. remember some deer when i was a kid that was beef like in texture but had way more taste to it. but that's the same thing I like about a good steak.n

It depends on what they eat. I had a buck that was huge and fat from eating milo. That was the nastiest tasting deer I ever had. It tasted like milo minus the crunch.

You can cook elk wrong and it will be some really tough meat. SLow and low is the only way to cook it.

I didn't like squirrel. Very gamey. Lots of acorns so a very tanic acid taste. It might be good after being brined though.

I'm game to eat anything that's edible and provides some nourishment. ate least once... I even ate lebanese food <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />.
I'm not looking to gonaround eating eels and monkey brains but I'm just saying... don't put it under me on the food chain and think I won't eat it.

Good to know MB, thanks
I found a spike tactical stripped lower with the pirate on it. Thinking about picking it up, it was hard to track down one in stock

I am super picky, always have been. The texture or smell of a food can really turn me off. Wish I wasnt this way, I try to get past it all the time.
