I am lucky I have nearly everything I want. I do need a new upper. Not happening anytime soon due to the panic buying. Not even pistol uppers.

I have to say that any dealer that gouges has lost my business forever. The same as any dealer here that has stopped selling semi auto rifles. They are opportunists and a poor representation of what the firearms community should be.

Lots of people panicing and plenty trying to get rich off the rush.

I am so glad Magpul is cutting off dealers like CTD for gouging customers. They will never buy direct again.

I looked at a 45/70 marlin today as well but thought the 600 would be more practical.

I'm not talking about business that have stopped taking orders because they have to process and fill what they have. I'm talking about the ones that stopped selling because certain guns are now evil.

We have one big Shop that is going to go out of business because of their decision that all semi-autos are evil.

Dicks was already on my won't do business list. When they bought out Gaylans the refused to sell handguns because they were evil so they don't get a dime from me.

Anyone local that made that decision gets nothing. A few thousand here and there won't hurt business but enough people are taking notice and I will be surprised if the big local comes out of 2013 without bankruptcy.

Even if you don't care about guns or the type of guns currently on the chopping block, think long and hard about getting involved anyway.

Other countries (like the one I grew up in) moved onto knives and other items (air rifles, swords, sling shots and baseball bats) when the guns were completely banned and violent crime was still happening and increasing.
