I read WWZ and the Zombie Survival Guide
I am not much into graphic novels, but I have read some of the TWD

Yeah, WWZ was a good read. I read one a while back called Apocalypse Z by a spanish author, translated to english. It was pretty standard, but fun nonetheless. Very well written. It got me started reading all of the pulp fiction available cheaply on my kindle. Some truly terrible stuff out there, but some gems every once in a while.

I don't get much time to read, just so busy with work and stuff
I think the last book I read was on cryptozoology

Nessie and Squatch? That sounds fun.

I understand all too well, my reading has dropped off dramatically since my son was born and school started. I was just curious.

i just watched day of the dead today it was ok but they had the zombies that could still run and where aware enough that they would have been formidable foes.

I am a sasquatch researcher
I do not believe that they exist now or at any time in recorded history, but I am fascinated by them
I am fortunate in that I am friends with some very respected researchers.

I wasn't a huge fan of that movie
A sort of comedy movie that people seem to love or hate is Warm bodies

Check out Juan of the Dead
Its the Cuban version of Shaun of the Dead. The govenment says the Zombies are actually from the US to promote capitalism. Its pretty funny and some really creative scenes

The fact that the zombies were much faster and vicious made 28 Days more intense. I realize they weren't actually zombies but same outcome.

i always thought that the green was sort of a glowing nuclear waste type green. like if you found the source that caused the zombism it would most likely be a gelatinous substance spilling out of a 100 or so 50 gallon oil cans and pulsating a glowing version of that color. you know... something you'd find behind a golden coral over by where they keep the meat! smile

Lazi,

I used to have the same thoughts about the nuclear waste, I could see a big nuclear event turning regular people into rotting, walking corpses.
