Talking with Adam and Rich influenced me in a way that lead me to start looking outside the Bussekin family for bushcrafters. Its unfortunate that the Yard or Swamp aren't taking this growing market segment seriously. I honestly feel that its being completely ignored by them. The Swamp Warden isn't even a standard offering.

My perceptions of what constitutes a bushcrafter has been shaped by this thread, and recent testing of my own.

I'm stuck thinking a 4" FFG x 1/8" makes the most sense. I recently had a Bark River Bravo-1, and had it been one of the stainless models (my knife was A2) and no thicker than .1875" I would have kept it because it was ... close .... very very close ... to what I perceive to be a GREAT BC knife.
