Chuck HawK's Review Burris Fullfield e1 series Never knew just how good these things were! Worth full price IMO. I think you could easily pay more and get less with a different scope. Of course, this is just first impressions--won't have a chance to use it until after Christmas, but the glass is bright, clear edge to edge, easy to focus, has an easy to operate magnification ring, and the quality just feels solid. The specs sound really amazing.
It's made in the Philippines, but unlike other companies that outsource their specs to OEMs across the Pacific Rim, Burris made an exact copy of all their tools, machines, etc--the whole dang shop--and used it to set up a brand new factory overseas that they run and that just makes Burris scopes to the company's specs. They have both shops still running so some of their stuff is still made here as is their customer service. They also apparently use the same coatings and process on every scope--all are fully multicoated, so there's really no such thing as an optically inferior line--ie none that are just coated or multicoated).
I feel like a fanboy and all I did was open the box and install it on the gun

lazi, if you can pick up the e1 for 110, that's a heck of a deal! Heck, I'd probably buy it off you if you don't want it!

It would work well on a brush gun I've got.
