I was doing some research on the whole SR77 vs. SR101, and what do you folks think about this assumption that I have come to...the SR77 is better suited for blades 7" and larger, and the SR101 being better suited for blades 6" and under.

I have read that the SR77 has better toughness-shock absorbance, and the SR101 will resist abrasion a little better-hold an edge a little longer. In the end they are both outstanding steels no doubt, I just tend to over think things <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif" alt="" />
