Honestly I don't think most people would notice any difference.
For example, during a weekend of chopping.. an SR-77 Dog Father will outchop an Infi CGFBM (.25" thick model) due to the Res-C handle alone!
Ok.. over many Months of hard chopping.. the Infi user may notice an advantage in edge retention & corrosion resistance.
Andy Wayne over here has done Serious chopping with his SR-101 choppers.
I wouldn't get too hung up over any of the Busse steels.
Personally.. comfort/feel in hand, availability, & price are more important considerations to me.
You lucky ones with the Dog Fathers...I am jealous, do you think Dan will release those again?
I didnt know that a DF could out chop an INFI FBM, but with the comfort level of the RES-C over Micarta, I definately see your point there. As long as you keep the DF good and oiled the corrosion aspect shouldnt be a huge issue right?
