The S6 cuts great, but I was amazed at the chopping ability, it must be the extra weight from the thickness with the full flat grind. Tha handle is fantastic for real world work too. It does bound a bit when throwing though, but for grip and shock absorption its the best I have used. For finer work just choke up a bit.
