My baby's gone!

I sent my Hook away to Eric at One scene Tactical for some new clothes.
I miss her already. I really felt like I had to start a thread about the Hook because like Dan said it felt like it expressed part of my personality.

I was considering grinding my DF into a big fighter with a sharpened back edge like a Bagwell bowie but it felt wrong to try to change it's personality into something it isn't. The DF is an exellent backwoods chopper or survival bowie
and it is just to thick to ever be quick enough as a fighter without grinding a whole new knife out of it. Better to just wait until a knife comes along that just needs a bit of polish to be exactly what I want.

I think 7 inches is like the sweet spot aesthetically for a knife as thick as the Scrappers and Rats. The 6's have a bit to much handle. The 7's like the Camp Tramp
look like a picture of a knife like you would find in a dictionary next to the word "knife" when you look at them in profile.

I miss my Hook already and it has only been gone for a couple of hours.
I have a Katana , a Mutt and a hook all in the clutches of Canada Post which is a unionized government agency in a socialist country. A Canada Post employee could take my Katana out of the package ,kill his supervisor with it and still could not be fired.
