sold my FN-FAL .308 last year..
kinda heavy & unwieldy in the city, but great for open range.


Looking to replace it with a .308 bolt-action "Scout Rifle" a la Jeff Cooper.. but i prefer iron sights. I hike around in the desert a lot.. so Lightweight is important to me.. w/ long range punch.




I'm also looking for a "Backpack" Assault Rifle for hiking.. been lookin hard at the 50-round capacity FN P90 in 5.7x28mm (err.. PS90 w/ civilian-length barrel i suppose)



Still on the fence about selling my AR-15..
i'm too sober right now to think about it.


The "assault rifle" i REGRET selling most.. was my trusty 'ol Russian SKS w/ 10-round stripper clips.. i abused the Hell out of it.. hardly ever cleaned it.. ran the cheapest fodder i could find.. but that thing went Bang every time.. NEVER jammed!
