I'm gunna take an out side guess that the DFLE has been a more long term project that was started along side the regular DF. Which means the blades were done then and they just needed to be finished. If that's the case then Dan may have been slowly working on them on and off for the past several months. Some or all could be ready soon?

On the other hand a 7+ incher would be interesting as well.

And if it's something small I'll be content as well, I'm really not very concerned about the size. I know eventually Dan will cover the whole spectrum, some will just have to wait longer than others for their dream size and shape.
