Out in the yard, I use my machetes, Dog Father, and Ontario Survival a lot. I seldom use my small fixed blades. If I'm going to cut something, I use a folder. If I'm going to chop or clear, I use a machete or big bowie...Out in the bush, I usually end up carrying a large fixed blade or machete for chopping, and do what little skinning and cutting I do with a folder.
