Reno's not too bad. more fish taco stands than I've ever seen in one place in my entire life. up around lake tahoe it's gorgeous, and plenty green, but the winters do get a bit chilly.
if you're worried about things being cold, oregon or washington would probably be a bit better than montana, but montana is absolutely beautiful in the high mountains in summer.
utah's perfect, though. too hot in the summer, too cold in the winter. I spent that past four years driving around with a heater that was permanently on. I could turn the fan to low, but even with the windows down that extra bit of hot, hot air when it's 100-degrees-plus outside is a killer. we had our first snow in the valley last night, so I guess I have to stop wearing flip-flops to work now. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> it never gets down far below 0F most of the time during the winter. most of the time.
