BTW - DN - its looking great.

I used a stainless steel kitchen scrubber to even out my bluing in between applications - I had the same problem. I'd blue, rinse, scrub, blue, rinse, scrub - until I got what I was after. I would also blue, then apply Liquid Wrench over top of the bluing (and it would turn a blue color, instead of brown) and then rinse. That was an accidental but pleasant discovery!
